Things I build, run, photograph, and raise: apps, a cabin, and two boys.

My Challenge Coin app logo, a bear holding a gold coin

My Challenge Coin

iOS app · Family

A family achievement app. Parents set real challenges for their kids; kids complete them, take a photo, write a story, and earn a coin. Every coin is proof of something real: a mountain climbed, a fight won, an exam aced.

Between the trophy-for-everyone generation where nothing is earned and the drill-and-pressure model where everything is earned but nothing is enjoyed, My Challenge Coin is the third way: challenges hard enough to matter, rewarding enough to keep going, and memorable enough to last.

The CastorOS mascot, a beaver butler carrying a tray with a key and a chalet

CastorOS

SaaS · Hospitality tech

A $35/mo digital butler for the independent chalet owner. CastorOS automates the moments that matter most. The cabin is warm before guests arrive, the door code is on their phone, the hot tub instructions appear when they scan the QR sticker, and the host is notified the second the door opens.

Built for sole owners of high-end cabins and countryside chalets, launching in Quebec. French-first, bilingual, with an AI guest butler named Arthur. iOS app coming soon.

L'Étoile Rouge log cabin among the trees under a blue sky

L'Étoile Rouge

Short-term rental · 6+ years on Airbnb

A year-round log cabin on the banks of the Rivière Rouge in Quebec, with three bedrooms, a wood stove, a riverfront spa, kayaks, and a sandy beach. Running it for over six years (~$80k/year) taught me how to use manual and cordless tools, how to fight mosquitoes, and how to understand Québec a little better.

Photography

Ongoing · Personal & pro

Ongoing personal and professional projects, from the Journée de la Harpe festival to travel work in Japan, and everything the light offers in between.

Raphaël & Léo

The longest project

Two boys, many songs, and a lifetime of challenges being earned one coin at a time. Chalet life, music, and everything in between.
